BMG Supports The RSBC

Dr. Brian May and BMG recently provided the Royal Society for Blind Children with a pair of signed BMG instruments for a fundraising auction and were thrilled to receive this message from event organiser Kevin McNulty...

"I thought I would let you know that the two signed Brian May guitars sold for £2,150, which is enough money to pay for one of our family engagement workers to support 2 blind children and their families for a year.

As well as this, there is also enough money to pay for 2 blind young people to take part in one of our away-days where they take on challenges such as climbing walls and assault courses. This builds their confidence and resilience."

One of the instruments is pictured right at a recent RSBC "Winefold Challenge" - a wine tasting event with a twist that has inspired the charity's latest national public fundraising campaign which invites everyone to raise money to support the amazing work of the RSBC by organising their very own Winefold Challenge.

All you will need are some friends, some wine and your free Winefold Challenge kit which is available by registering for free HERE on the RSBC website.

Inside the kit is all the information you need to host your own event including advice on planning the night, a comprehensive wine guide and ideas for fundraising for your memorable evening.

With your help, the RSBC can try and ensure that no child in the UK grows up to be poor or lonely, just because they are blind.
