Exciting sound, comfortable neck Thursday, 7 January 2021 | Tamas
This guitar has a smaller body then average guitars so it has less bass tone, but who cares, it's not a bass guitar. It has an exciting tone. All the acoustic and the electric sound is well used.
The Fishman Under-Saddle Pickup and the Soundhole Mounted Electret-Condenser Cardioid Microphone works brilliant. Tuner well enough.
The number one reason I choosed this acoustic guitar that I hope, the neck is same as the BMG Special, and yes... it's easily playable at the last fret too.
I love it!

An absolutely stunning guitar, flawless electrics, and beautiful tone. Whats hard to tell from the pictures is the size of this guitar. It has such a thin body compared to my other acoustics. This will be a joy to play in shows all over Florida next year!

It's a very nice guitar and a good compromise between an electric guitar and an acoustic. I also have a Gibson, but I don't touch it much anymore as I am playing the BMG instead. It has a nice balance and very good warm sound. Even the strings have the good density and tension. Very happy with this purchase ... my neighbours probably less

Unfortunately my guitar took longer than the expected 48 hours to be delivered, in fact it took just over a week. Be that as it may I cannot fault the customer service.. (I was) supplied with updates via the phone and when I was told the actual date to expect delivery it was spot on.
So I'm not pleased, just have to learn to play it now.

Response:
The BMG Rhapsody is always worth waiting a little longer for, as every instrument receives a thorough, professional set-up in the House Music workshop.

Even better than I expected - Sounds great through the amp, but I was really surprised by how well it sounded and projected on its own, especially given the small body. Fit and finish very good, neck feels great - What's not to like?

It's a beautiful guitar with a rich sound, despite the small body. I'm glad I bought it. It handles quite well and is a real lightweight. It is quite head heavy though, you feel that when playing it with a strap. BTW, it doesn't have both strap attachment points, if you want to put a strap on it you have to attach those yourself. I can't say anything about the electrics, I didn't use it with an amp so far.

This is a very light guitar. To me it sounds best with a little amplification. It has a built-in tuner and its a little smaller than I was expecting but that makes it comfortable to play... I also very much like the design of it, its pretty to see!

Superb guitar - so little and yet so big Wednesday, 13 May 2020 | Jose
What a fantastic guitar... a body so small and yet such a great sound without being connected.
When I connected the guitar the balance between the 2 mics is fantastic, and you can change that... WOW.
Great sound, great playability even with 012 strings, and so so light... 5 stars!!!

I just wanted to thank you very much for sending the Rhapsody acoustic. It arrived safely today and looks & sounds great. I have been keenly waiting for it to become available again - it was well worth the wait.
Thank you again and I wish you all the very best during these uncertain times.
Best Regards

Awesome Guitar - Exactly what we need Monday, 10 September 2018 | Martin
This guitar is simply wonderful. I've always wanted a Rhapsody, but I'm not a huge fan of the B-Band electronics which the old models had - as soon as I saw they had changed to Fishman, I bought one immediately.
I'm in an acoustic band, but we play loud and fast. For that reason, the electronics in the guitar and the small size and weight of it is a perfect fit. The body is very small, so although the tone is lovely, purely acoustic it's not got massive sound, though plugged in with that Fishman pickup, the sound is really full. For us, it's perfect, as it's really as close as you can get to having an Electric that's still an acoustic, in terms of size, feel and look.
No guitar is perfect and I've had a couple of minor issues - I had to put a large washer on the inside of the jack socket as it kept coming loose (I supposed it's not really designed for the jump-around energetic gigs we do), and a new set of strings can take a bit of time to settle, but apart from that it's not let me down. The only addition I've made is to add a strap nut on the base of the neck as I prefer to attach a strap there rather than at the top.
It has a wide but short fretboard (even though there's 24 frets), which I love, but bear that in mind if you're used to thinner boards. For me, it fits perfectly, and when I slip it over my shoulder before a gig I get that feeling that only guitarists will understand - when a guitar just feels like an extension of you, rather than just an instrument.
All in all, bang for buck, best guitar I've ever owned.

I really like this guitar, as I really like it and I respect Brian May. I had also bought the BMG Special and now I can be proud of owning two great guitars. Thank you.

Very good customer service Thursday, 11 May 2017 | Dirk
Hi Barry
Last Friday I got the replacement Rhapsody. Wow!
What a surprise when I saw Brian's personalised message!
Thank you very much for all your efforts -nas you must have asked Brian to sign the guitar with some kind of special note 😊- and the very good customer service!
Best regards
Dirk

I have owned a BMG Rhapsody since they first came out. I have played many others in that time but keep coming back to the Rhapsody... with its chunky neck and 24 accessible frets it is just a joy to play and so versatile.
With its small (but perfectly formed) body you really need to plug it in to get the best from it. The B-Band pickup and pre-amp it give a great full sound for a small guitar, but practicing alone it is fine unplugged.
All my friends who have played it have loved it too.
Looks good, feels good and sounds great... what more can you ask?
Also a perfect match for my BM Super.
