Assembly Instructions

PARTS

1 x Thick foam padded seat
1 x Swivel (with top & bottom offset)
1 x Chrome plated TOP leg with glides
1 x Chrome plated BOTTOM leg with glides
1 x Large chrome plated foot-ring

HARDWARE

4 x Small bolts with metal sleeves (to secure the foot ring to the legs)

4 x Large bolts with lock nuts (to fasten the swivel plate to legs)

4 x Medium bolts (to attach the swivel plate to the seat pad)

6 x Metal discs (for adjusting the balance of the stool legs)

TOOLS

2 x Allen keys
1 x Wrench

STEP 1
Place the top and bottom bar stool legs together as shown.

STEP 2
Slide the ring over the legs and align the holes (it will probably be necessary to pull the legs apart to facilitate this). Insert metal sleeves and secure with the small bolts. Tighten all bolts securely.

STEP 3
Place the swivel on top of legs & align holes. With the top swivel plate at a 45 degree angle to the other, insert the large bolts and screw on lock nuts securely. If the swivel is tight, place on a carpeted floor, stand on it and twist - you should be able to turn it smoothly.

STEP 4
Turn the bar stool over and secure the seat to the swivel with medium bolts as shown.

STEP 5
Double check all nuts and bolts for tightness.

STEP 6
For proper leveling, remove rubber cap and insert supplied metal discs, as required.

Love the look and I'm happy to park my behind on it. I did struggle a bit with assembly but figured it out.

A review on a stool? Well, this product is more than worthy of 5 stars.

Extremely well made, strong and stable, and the rotating seat is just so useful. It’s not till you sit on a music stool with this feature, that you then realize how practical it is. Good height as well, as it’s also good for keyboard playing, not short like many others. Well worth the money.

Great product, now taking pride of place in my office/music room. Not the easiest thing put together (best with 2 people) but great now it's done. Good quality, and just the right height for playing one of my BMG collection.

Love it!

A great product but not the easiest thing in the world to build

Really pleased with this item. Nice and sturdy, swivels and doesn't creak or squeak when being used - very handy when recording. Only one drawback was the assembly. My advice would be throw away the instructions and work out yourself, but that could just be me. Overall, a brilliant product, delivered promptly by a guy wearing a collar and tie, and has the cool Brian May Guitars logo on it, what could be better?! Although sitting on his name doesen't improve my guitar playing.

Response:

The factory supplied instructions are somewhat lacking in detail, so customers are advised that we have prepared a much clearer assembly guide - this is attached to the outside of the box and available to download HERE.

I love this

The perfect height for playing. Love the foot rest bar. Have not used anything since. The only problem with the construction was it would be nice if the assembly directions were a little bit more specific with the type of screw used where. Especially since the foot ring is larger in circumference to the legs. But I love this product

A brand new BMG instruction sheet (supplementary to the factory supplied guide inside the box) is included with the BMG Studio Stool, detailing the exact hardware required at each stage, and providing additional guidance for correct assembly - it is also available for download HERE.

This Brian May Studio Stool is fantastic... it’s at a fixed height which is spot-on, with a well comfortable, padded cushion on a very sturdy chrome frame. The red BMG logo and Brian’s Signature stands out on this very bright blue backing. Build Quality 100%. It’s a must have product From the BMG. I would recommend!
